I went to the Emmys once, my girlfriend was dying to go. It was the moment I sat down I thought “I wouldn’t even watch this on TV”…till, I’m nominated I think at a party, ignoring the thing w/snacks, that’s the way to go. At least till they start making good movies…
…but still, jealous.
I’m like that. I almost never watch awards show broadcasts. The last broadcast of an Awards show I watched in full was probably the 2000 Oscars. It is a little embarrassing though when people ask: “So what did you think of the Golden Globes last night?” And I have to answer: “They were on?”
