Boudicca, from Markosia Comics, is based on the true story of Britain’s favorite anti-imperial rebel, and it’s now available worldwide from most big booksellers.

Swedish artist Johan Swärd and I have been working on Boudicca for four years now, in between other projects – and, in Johan’s case, having a child. We’ve made what we think is a great book – epic, dark, violent, and very human.

Boudicca soft launched in December. We will be announcing an official launch shortly, to take place in one of the sites obliterated by Boudicca, the queen of the Iceni, in her legendary revolt against the occupying Roman Empire.
